Apple spyware alerts reach users in 110 countries
Image: Primary Apple sent a new wave of threat notifications on Friday to customers in 110 countries whom it believes were targeted with mercenary spyware, TechCrunch reported.
Access Now said its investigators received about 30% to 40% more requests for help than they usually receive after such notifications, while iVerify also reported an influx. Apple now delivers alerts through the iPhone lock screen, Settings, account email and web sign-in, which investigators said may also increase the number of users who see them.
