Google expands AI Overview panels for some searches
Image: Primary Google has begun automatically fully expanding AI Overviews for some search queries, according to a Google confirmation reported by 9to5Google. The panels already appear above traditional results; for selected queries, the change can make the AI-generated response fill the page rather than occupy only its top section. Google said the expansion is dynamic and used where its systems judge it most useful. Definitions were cited as one recurring example.
