Isar says Spectrum deployed payloads on second flight

Isar Aerospace said its Spectrum vehicle reached orbit and deployed payloads from Andøya Space in Norway on its second flight. The company said the qualification mission completed stage separation, second-stage ignition, circularization and spacecraft separation. Its payloads were selected through the German Space Agency's Microlauncher Competition, which is funded through ESA Boost!. Isar said Spectrum vehicles 3 through 7 are already in production and that a planned 40,000-square-meter production facility could eventually make up to 40 launch vehicles annually.
