Microsoft names Project Zenith developer-focused Windows configuration

Microsoft has named its developer-optimized Windows experience Project Zenith, targeting new developer-focused devices with at least 64GB of unified memory. The company says the configuration includes preinstalled tools such as Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot and PowerToys, and is intended to run models with more than 30 billion parameters locally without metered cloud tokens. AMD announced the first Zenith device, a miniature PC using Ryzen AI Halo chips.
