Ampcus acquires SmarterD for cybersecurity division
Ampcus has acquired SmarterD, an AI-powered platform that combines IT, security and compliance data across enterprise systems. The companies said SmarterD will join Ampcus' cybersecurity and risk-management division while retaining its brand. Ampcus plans to incorporate the platform into its cybersecurity and digital-transformation offerings, focused on organizations in heavily regulated industries. SmarterD's chief executive will leave day-to-day operations, while its team and technology continue under Ampcus ownership.
