Mesoblast completes dosing in 350-patient back-pain Phase 3 trial

The trial enrolled 350 people, expanded from 300, with half receiving a single intra-discal injection and half a sham control shot. Its primary endpoint is long-term pain reduction after 12 months; the article says results are expected by mid-2027. The experimental therapy is intended to treat pain associated with degenerative disc disease.
