Chinese startup LandSpace recovered the first stage of its Zhuque-3 rocket on land after the vehicle sent a satellite into orbit, according to accounts cited by The Next Web. The booster touched down on legs in Gansu about 390 kilometers from the launch site, marking China's first successful ground-based recovery of an orbital-class booster. LandSpace said it plans to reuse the recovered first stage within six months and aims to fly each booster up to 20 times.
