Pixxel has raised $100 million in a Series C round co-led by Temasek and Seraphim Space, according to IndianStartupNews. The Bengaluru company said the financing brings total funding to $195 million and will support satellite sensing, Earth-intelligence software, sovereign observation systems and manufacturing in India and the United States. Pixxel operates six Firefly hyperspectral satellites and plans a Honeybee constellation whose first satellite is expected in 2027. The report says Pixxel has also received U.S. government work.
