Apple A20 Pro tops Geekbench 7 single-core, first 2nm smartphone SoC

Apple A20 Pro Image: Primary
An early Geekbench 7 submission shows Apple's A20 Pro, the application processor in its latest iPhones, scoring 4,006 single-thread and 11,460 multi-thread points, a 23.3% and 27.1% gain over the A19 Pro. The chip is Apple's first smartphone SoC on TSMC's N2 node and pairs two desktop-class cores clocked up to 4.93 GHz with 50% more memory bandwidth. Tom's Hardware reports the part beats AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X3D by 26% and Intel's Core i9-14900KS by 32% in single-thread work, while desktop and 16-core laptop parts retain large multi-thread leads.
