O2 deploys 24 small cells across Westminster

O2 has deployed 24 small cells in high-demand parts of London's Westminster, adding mobile-network capacity in one of the capital's most congested areas. The operator said it used existing street furniture for the installations. Small cells are intended to increase capacity and reduce congestion in dense locations. O2 said its wider small-cell network now extends to more than 2,500 sites across Bath, Plymouth, Bristol, Swansea, and Guildford.
