Pollen Robotics has opened preorders for Microduck, a 25-centimeter bipedal robot priced at $399 before taxes and shipping. The Hugging Face-owned company says it plans first deliveries in North America, Europe and the UK before Christmas 2026. Microduck has 15 motors, a camera, compact LiDAR and an onboard 50Hz policy loop; its software stack and development tools are open source, while its mechanical and electronic designs are not. Pollen says owners can train behaviors in simulation and deploy them to the robot.
