Nvidia H200 chips reportedly begin reaching Chinese technology companies
Image: Primary Nvidia H200 accelerators have begun arriving at Chinese technology companies after months in which export licenses produced almost no shipments, according to a Financial Times report cited by The Next Web. ByteDance and Tencent reportedly each received about 10,000 processors in recent weeks. The report says Beijing has instructed companies to keep the hardware outside mainland China, including through Hong Kong facilities that mainland engineering teams can reach over network links.
