BWXT said the U.S. Army selected its Advanced Nuclear Reactor for the JANUS program and that it will begin phased work with the Army and the Defense Innovation Unit toward deploying a unit at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The company described the work as drawing on its reactor engineering, TRISO fuel development, advanced manufacturing and Project Pele experience.
