SweGaN closes €12.09 million round to expand GaN-on-SiC output
Image: Primary SweGaN has closed a €12.09 million Series B financing round to scale production of gallium nitride on silicon carbide epitaxial wafers and accelerate global growth.
Thisbe AB, North Ventures and existing shareholders led the round, which the company says brings total funding to €35.4 million. SweGaN plans to expand production capacity, build commercial presence in key markets, invest in talent and infrastructure, and accelerate research on next-generation materials. Its wafers serve radio-frequency and power applications including telecommunications, radar, satellite communications, electric vehicles and data centers.
