OpenAI plans restricted launch of Astra cybersecurity model

OpenAI plans restricted launch of Astra cybersecurity model Image: Primary
OpenAI plans to launch Astra, a cybersecurity model whose most advanced capabilities will initially be limited to a select group of testers, Forbes Australia reported. The company said Astra can find unknown cybersecurity flaws and autonomously create exploits across many well-protected systems, and that it delayed parts of development to strengthen protections against misuse. OpenAI expects safeguards at launch to add friction while access is restricted to alpha testers.
