Freshworks Will Unite Product and Engineering Under One Leader Aug. 10

Freshworks Appoints Ryan Manning as Product-Tech Chief Image: Primary
Freshworks Inc. announced Monday that Ryan Manning will join the company as chief product and technology officer on Aug. 10, unifying product and engineering under one leader, the company said. Manning will report to CEO Dennis Woodside and succeed Srini Raghavan, who is leaving to pursue an entrepreneurial venture. Existing Chief Technology Officer Murali Swaminathan will report to Manning. The appointment comes as Freshworks expands its footprint with mid-market and agile enterprises. "Ryan has the unique ability to quickly turn what customers need into products that win in the market," Woodside said. "As AI changes how quickly and how deeply our customers can put new capability to work, we're excited to bring product and engineering back together under a single organization so we can move with more speed and less friction." Manning previously helped build and scale ServiceNow around its IPO and co-founded FreeAgent CRM, now Servis.ai. Most recently he led the product team at BMC Helix as chief product officer. He will be based at Freshworks' San Mateo headquarters.
