Multiple lawsuits have been filed against identity-verification company IDScan after reports that attackers offered more than 153 million US and Canadian driver's-license scans for sale, according to BleepingComputer. The outlet says Brian Krebs verified samples and traced the leak to IDScan, while the FBI confirmed it is investigating. IDScan has not publicly commented and did not respond to requests for comment. The source says it remains unclear whether IDScan systems were compromised or how many people were affected.
