Policloud signs €580m deal for European sovereign AI cloud with CloudGrid Energy
Image: datacenterdynamics.com French AI cloud startup Policloud has secured a €580 million framework contract from CloudGrid Energy to deploy a European sovereign AI platform. The agreement will see Policloud deploying 280 units across 16 sites in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Sweden by the end of 2027. According to Policloud, the first unit in Bonne Voisine, France, is already operational. Policloud CEO David Gurle said in his LinkedIn post that the deployment will be at renewable power farms.
