India's AI rules may change: Who decides what stays online and what gets removed?

MeitY said the amendments aim to create a safer and more accountable digital environment amid the growing use of AI tools. The draft rules also propose mandatory AI content labelling and faster grievance redress timelines. The amendments are currently in draft form and have been released for public consultation.
