Private Gift Brings Two Ami Humanoid Robots to UCCS

UCCS News reported on July 8, 2026 that donor Joanne Posner-Mayer provided two "Ami Desktop" humanoid robots to UCCS through a private philanthropic gift. The two newly donated robots at the unboxing in the Kraemer Family Library. The campus has welcomed two "Ami Desktop" humanoid robots to campus. The robots will be housed in Kraemer Family Library and coordinated through C3 Innovation as shared university resources available to faculty, students and campus partners.
