AWS adds Lambda diagnostics to MCP Server

AWS said its Model Context Protocol Server now includes a serverless capability for diagnosing running Lambda functions and connected resources. Coding agents can inspect Lambda alongside API Gateway, EventBridge, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS and Step Functions; correlate errors against a seven-day baseline; retrieve deployed configuration; and analyze recent changes and latency. AWS said the managed service is available through its Agent Toolkit or as a standalone installation, with the new diagnostic capability offered at no additional cost.
