SIPP Power, a YTL Power subsidiary, announced it will acquire 145 acres at Sedenak Tech Park West in Johor, Malaysia, for a data center and has an option to acquire another 400 acres for expansion. YTL said the campus will complement its Johor Green Data Center Park, which has planned capacity of up to 600MW and 72MW currently available. The source could not confirm whether a cited 1.2GW figure applies to the new campus alone or both projects.
