Intel details AI compute designs spanning data centers and edge devices
Image: Primary Intel said it will present three architectures for agentic-AI and enterprise workloads at Hot Chips 2026: the Diamond Rapids Xeon successor, the Crescent Island inference GPU, and Wildcat Lake client processors. Intel says Crescent Island is a 350-watt air-cooled PCIe card with up to 480GB of LPDDR5X memory, while Diamond Rapids is designed with up to 256 new cores. Wildcat Lake has launched as Intel Core Series 3 processors.
