Greenidge Generation has rebranded as Vulcan Infrastructure and Power and says it has moved away from Bitcoin-mining data-center operations to pursue AI and high-performance-computing sites. Its shares began trading under the VIP ticker on July 24. Vulcan says it controls 104MW of energized capacity and a 654MW development pipeline, while seeking to commercialize more than 100MW for AI and HPC in the near term. At its Dresden, New York site, it has approval for 60MW of non-curtailable grid power and is seeking additional capacity through the NYISO process.
