OpenAI rolls out restricted ChatGPT experience for teens
OpenAI has begun rolling out ChatGPT for Teens, a version for users aged 13 to 17 with stricter safeguards and parental-control options, according to SiliconANGLE. The report says the product restricts conversations involving violence, self-harm, sex and mental disorders, and can alert parents in certain cases when controls are enabled. Users identified by their inputs as young may be switched into teen mode automatically. The experience also includes Study Mode, quizzes, visualizations and a Study Hours feature.
