Hyperscale Data Sells About 100 Bitcoin, Secures Credit Facility to Accelerate AI Data Center Buildout

Hyperscale Data sold approximately 100 Bitcoin and secured a secured revolving credit facility of up to $25 million to accelerate its transition from cryptocurrency mining to artificial intelligence infrastructure, the company announced. The sale generated approximately $11.8 million in gross proceeds based on prevailing market prices. The company said the proceeds will be directed toward the development of AI-focused data center infrastructure and other strategic growth initiatives rather than repurchasing Bitcoin or strengthening its crypto treasury. Management said the financing offers greater flexibility as demand for high-performance computing capacity continues to outpace supply. Hyperscale emphasized that the Bitcoin sale should not be interpreted as an exit from digital assets but forms part of a broader capital allocation strategy designed to maximize long-term shareholder value. The revolving credit facility complements that strategy by allowing the company to finance growth without relying exclusively on equity issuance or additional cryptocurrency sales. The announcement marks another step in Hyperscale's strategic shift away from dependence on Bitcoin mining revenues toward becoming an owner and operator of AI computing infrastructure.
