Shopify brings Tailwind Labs into its organization
Image: Primary Tailwind Labs says it is joining Shopify, placing the Tailwind CSS framework and its maintainers inside the commerce platform. The company says Tailwind CSS will remain MIT-licensed and that its team will continue maintaining its open-source projects. Existing Tailwind Plus and ui.sh customers will retain access, but new commercial sign-ups are closing as the team shifts its focus to Tailwind CSS work at Shopify. Tailwind says the framework is installed more than 110 million times weekly.
