Potentia proposes 450-acre Texas site for potential data center
Image: DCD Potentia Development announced plans for Project Big Pine, a 450-acre behind-the-meter industrial park in Bowie County, Texas, and is seeking a hyperscale, AI/HPC, neocloud, or other data-center anchor. The company says islanded on-site generation could be energized 20 to 30 months after an offtaker signs. It is also pursuing a phased pathway to 800MW of utility service beginning in 2032, subject to Southwest Power Pool studies, upgrades, and definitive agreements.
