Shipyard to end IPFS maintenance and public-infrastructure work
Image: Primary Shipyard says it will wind down its IPFS engineering, maintenance and infrastructure operations after Protocol Labs declined to renew its funding. It says its final day of IPFS-related work will be September 30, 2026. Shipyard says the change ends dedicated maintenance for projects including Kubo, Helia, Boxo and IPFS Desktop, and that it will cease operating public services including ipfs.io, dweb.link and IPFS bootstrap nodes unless their owner determines another future.
