Sunrun and Voltus link home batteries to data-center capacity program
Image: DCD Sunrun has partnered with Voltus to supply energy capacity from part of its residential solar-and-storage fleet in PJM and MISO for Voltus's Bring Your Own Capacity program for AI data-center developers. Voltus says the program offers developers an alternative path to interconnection by using its virtual-power-plant platform to deliver market-accredited capacity. The companies' prior agreement with Tesla, signed in June, sought to aggregate more than 16GW of residential energy capacity for hyperscalers and utilities.
