HomeVestors acquires MLS investment-property platform BlueSquIDX Image: Primary
HomeVestors has acquired BlueSquIDX, a software platform for identifying MLS-listed investment properties and evaluating and submitting offers. The company said the platform uses machine learning to identify properties that may suit renovation, resale or other investment strategies. HomeVestors said a pilot reduced its process to about four hours per successful deal, while individual property evaluation and contracting could take about five minutes. BlueSquIDX founder Steve Peterson will remain with HomeVestors to support training and customization for its network of more than 750 franchisees in 47 states.
