Exascale Labs and EnergyBank propose offshore-wind data-center pilot Image: DCD
Exascale Labs and EnergyBank signed a non-binding memorandum to explore an off-grid AI data-center pilot alongside the Zephyros-One floating wind turbine off Norway. The proposed pilot would have 800kW of capacity and include a modular Exascale data center, battery backup, power distribution, switchboards, and management systems. The companies intend to perform feasibility work and define a reference architecture, with a longer-term target of compute deployments of up to 10MW per turbine.
