Anthropic Claude's Record a skill feature that can automate your tasks is here: How to use it

Anthropic announced a new Record a skill feature that lets users teach its Claude AI assistant repetitive tasks by recording screen activity and voice explanations. The company said the feature captures keyboard input, mouse clicks and spoken instructions and processes them into structured skills saved in a user library for later reuse. The capability is available only on the Claude desktop app for customers on paid plans and requires a stable internet connection. Users access it inside the Cowork space by pressing the plus icon and selecting Record a skill before performing the task they want automated. Anthropic said the feature removes the need for long prompts or manual scripting and makes automation more accessible to people with little technical background. Learned skills integrate with Claude Cowork's existing tools such as file access, memory, connectors and projects.
