Beacon Partners has withdrawn a proposal for a 100,000-square-foot data center on 13 acres in Raleigh, North Carolina, according to reports cited by Data Center Dynamics. The Jones Sausage Road Data Center, also known as Radius DC Raleigh I, could have represented $180 million of investment. Raleigh officials announced the withdrawal this week after more than 100 people signed up to speak at a City Council meeting. Beacon had not commented, and Data Center Dynamics said it had contacted RadiusDC for comment.
