Tensive secures €20 million EIB loan for regenerative breast device Image: Primary
The European Investment Bank agreed to provide Tensive with a convertible loan of up to €20 million for development of its REGENERA bioresorbable scaffold. The facility covers half of the company's €40 million financing plan and can be drawn in €8 million and €12 million tranches. Tensive said the funding will support research, clinical studies, CE marking, manufacturing scale-up and commercialization readiness. The clinical-stage company anticipates EU regulatory approval as early as 2027.
