Nscale and Figure announce $3.5 billion humanoid-compute commitment

Nscale and Figure said they signed a multi-year compute partnership beginning with a $3.5 billion commitment to support Figure's humanoid-robot models. The companies said the arrangement could scale beyond $6 billion and potentially deploy up to 100,000 Nvidia GPUs. Initial Vera Rubin GPU deployment is targeted for Barstow, Texas, in the second half of 2027. Nscale is to become Figure's preferred compute provider and a shareholder, while making an undisclosed strategic investment.
