Bull selected for €387.8 million Lumi-AI supercomputer project

EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and the Lumi AI factory consortium selected Bull to deliver the Lumi-AI supercomputer, scheduled for deployment in the second half of 2027 at CSC's data center in Kajaani, Finland. The €387.8 million project is funded equally by EuroHPC JU and a consortium of six countries. Bull said the liquid-cooled system will use its BullSequana XH3500 architecture, AMD Instinct MI430X GPUs and AMD Epyc processors; IBM and Nokia will provide storage and networking contributions.
