DataVita files plans for DV4 data center at Scottish campus
Image: DCD DataVita has submitted plans for a new data-center building, DV4, at its Chapelhall campus in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The operator already runs DV1 on the site and has DV3 under construction. Following public consultation, DataVita reduced DV4's planned maximum height from 30 meters to 26 meters and moved operational plant away from nearby homes. The proposed facility would use closed-loop cooling and target a power-usage effectiveness rating of 1.25, according to the company.
