Google Wallet adds Ohio digital state IDs on Android

Google Wallet has added Ohio to the states whose residents can add a driver's license or state ID to the Android app, according to 9to5Google. Users submit images of their physical card and a short verification video; an approved ID appears alongside payment passes and may be removed remotely if the phone is missing. The article says digital IDs can be used at TSA checkpoints at some airports through NFC or QR methods, with authentication before information is shared.
