Microsoft has put its Fabric data platform into public preview in Government Community Cloud High, with general availability scheduled for Oct. 1. Fabric combines analytical, operational, transactional, structured and unstructured data in OneLake and adds an intelligence layer for recommended actions and automations. GCC High is a segregated cloud environment designed for US federal security and compliance requirements. The report says Europe has no equivalent accredited tier because its cloud-certification scheme remains unadopted.
