Jio opens cloud PC subscriptions beyond its own broadband base
Image: Primary Reliance Jio has expanded JioPC, its cloud PC service, to internet users across India regardless of their telecom or broadband provider.
The service streams a virtual PC to an existing computer; Jio lists plans with up to eight virtual CPUs, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Jio says the service can let older computers run modern AI applications without hardware upgrades. Plans start at ₹1,000 for two months, while annual plans range from ₹4,000 to ₹5,000 depending on configuration.
