AWS brings Bedrock Web Search to GovCloud West

Amazon Bedrock's server-side Web Search tool is now available in AWS GovCloud (US-West), AWS said. The service lets supported OpenAI GPT models retrieve web results with citations inside Bedrock; AWS says administrators can control its use through IAM at the account or organization level and restrict it by Region. Launch support covers GPT-5.4, GPT-5.6 Terra and Luna, alongside existing commercial-region availability.
